Where to get your export
- Instagram & Facebook
- Settings → Accounts Centre → Your information and permissions → Download your information. Choose JSON format, all date ranges, complete detail. Arrives by email in a few hours.
- TikTok
- Profile → Settings and privacy → Account → Download your data. Choose JSON, not TXT.
- X / Twitter
- Settings → Your account → Download an archive of your data.
- takeout.google.com — pick Location History and YouTube at minimum. Warning: this one is enormous.
- LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reddit, Discord
- All have an equivalent in account settings, usually under Privacy or Data. Every one of them is required to give it to you.
