Nobody is turned away
for lack of money.

Two prices, and a very large amount that stays free. The people who most need protection are very often the people least able to pay for it, and any product that forgets this ends up defending the people who were already safest.

No account. No card. No trial that ends.

  • All eight tools: the Photo Check, the Audit, the Map, the Guide, Your Rights, the Passphrase, your Panel, and your Account
  • Every tool we add from here — if it costs nothing to run, it costs nothing to use
  • Knowing what is exposed about you
  • Knowing every right you hold and how to use it yourself
  • Every removal route, filed by hand, for nothing

Everything that costs us nothing to run is free, permanently. Paywalling knowledge would mean selling you the right itself.

$12/ month

Or $110 a year, which saves you $34. Regional pricing in the UK, EU, Canada and Australia.

  • Every broker deletion filed for you, and chased to a real answer
  • Refiled automatically when they quietly repopulate
  • Takedowns for photos you own and images posted without consent
  • Alerts when something new appears about you
  • The successor switch, and your panel synced across devices

For a life that keeps generating records. You move, you vote, you register a car. Every one of those repopulates the brokers within months. Removal is not a task you finish — it is one you maintain.

$129one payment

Paid once. No subscription, no renewal, no relationship afterwards.

  • The entire removal sweep in one pass — every broker, every route
  • Everything a year of SOVRAN+ would file, done at once
  • A written record of what was removed and where
  • Then it is finished. We do not keep your file.

For a life that is about to stop generating them. Leaving the country. Going properly off-grid. Closing a chapter and not opening another. If there is nothing new for the brokers to find, one sweep holds.

We will tell you which one you need Describe your situation and if the honest answer is “the one-time sweep is enough for you”, that is what we will say — even though the subscription is worth more to us over time. A privacy company that upsells you is telling you something about itself.

And if the answer is “you do not need either of these yet”, we will say that too. Most people are better served by an afternoon with The Guide Your rights than by paying anyone.

Neither paid tier is open yet. These prices are what we intend to charge, written down now so you can hold us to them. Join the waitlist and early members keep this rate for as long as they stay subscribed without a break.

Why not a lifetime price Because we could not keep it. A lifetime rate on a service with real ongoing costs — filings, monitoring, support — means either raising everyone else’s price to cover it, or quietly degrading what those people get. Both happen constantly and neither is honest.

What we can promise is that your price does not change while you stay subscribed. Leave and come back and you pay whatever the rate is then. That is a commitment we can actually keep, which is the only kind worth making.

10%

of every subscription funds free access

Not "a portion." Not "a share." Ten percent of every dollar SOVRAN+ ever takes in goes directly to covering people who cannot pay. We will publish the number of funded accounts, and we will raise the percentage before we ever lower it.

How to ask

You click a link that says you need it. That is the whole process.

There is no application. Here is a complete list of what we will never ask you for:

  • Proof of income, pay stubs, or tax returns
  • A benefits letter, EBT card, or case number
  • A referral from a caseworker, shelter, or agency
  • An explanation of your circumstances
  • A review period, an appeal, or a decision from anybody
  • Re-certification later to prove you still qualify

Here is what actually happens:

  • You choose the free option at checkout, or email us
  • We say yes
  • That is it. No follow-up, no expiry, no annual review.
Why we refuse to checkRequiring proof would mean building a database of exactly who is poor, disabled, unemployed, fleeing, or undocumented. That list is one of the most dangerous documents a person could appear on — and it is precisely the kind of thing this entire project exists to argue against.

We are not going to protect people from surveillance by surveilling them first. "We don't collect your identity" and "we don't collect your poverty" are the same commitment applied twice.

Some people who could afford it will use the free option. We know. That is a far smaller problem than one person in danger going without, and we are not going to build a machine for catching the first kind of person at the cost of the second.

How paying will work

SOVRAN+ is not open yet. When it is, here is the shape of it — written down now so you can hold us to it later.

The ruleYour payment and your account will never share an identifier. Not a customer number, not an email, not a reference code. Nothing that could be used to join the two together will exist in any database we hold.

Almost every service does the opposite: you pay, your subscription attaches to your account, and their database now links a real name and a card to everything that account ever does. That link is the honeypot all over again, and we are not building it.

Instead, you buy a token

  1. Your account already has a token. A random string like sv-4kx9-mnp2-7wqr, created the moment you sign up, with no time on it. It is not derived from your email and means nothing on its own.
  2. You buy time on a separate checkout page. No login, no account, nothing connecting the two. Our payment processor sees a card. It does not see a SOVRAN account, because none is involved.
  3. You paste the code into your account. Your account record then says one thing: paid until this date.
  4. Nothing joins them. Handed both databases, we could not tell you which customer is which user. Neither could anyone who took them from us.

Ways to pay, from ordinary to invisible

Card

Normal checkout. Card details go straight to the payment processor and never touch our servers. We would see an email and the last four digits, attached to nothing you do here.

Prepaid card

Buy a prepaid Visa or Mastercard with cash at any supermarket and use it at normal checkout. No bank account, no name, no trace back to you. Most services quietly block these. We will not.

Cash in an envelope

Write your token number on a slip of paper, put it in with cash, post it. We open it, credit the token, and that is the end of it. We never send anything back, so you never need to include a return address. The envelope holds a random number and some money and identifies nobody.

Being straight about the cash optionPost it plain and untracked, in small amounts, and understand it is at your own risk. A courier would give you tracking but requires your name and address, which destroys the only reason to do it this way. If an envelope goes missing you have lost the money and revealed nothing — that trade is the whole design.

What happens when someone cheats

Anonymous payment attracts fraud. Handling it without surveillance is possible, and it comes out cleaner than the usual approach:

  • We sell time, never lifetime access — a fraudulent payment costs a month, not forever
  • A stolen card means we void that token, not investigate a person
  • Cash and prepaid cannot be charged back at all, so the most private methods are also the safest for us
  • A token used from thirty places at once is visible as a count — we never need to know where any of them are

None of that requires knowing who you are. It never will.

Who this is for

Not an eligibility list — there is no eligibility. Just who we had in mind, so you know you are not an exception being tolerated.

Someone leavingA person getting out of an abusive home, whose safety depends on an address staying unfindable, and whose money is often controlled by the person they are leaving.
Someone on a fixed incomeDisability, retirement, or benefits, where a monthly subscription is a real decision and not a rounding error.
Someone whose records are dangerousPeople for whom an immigration status, a medical history, or a legal history turns ordinary data exposure into serious risk.
Someone doing risky workJournalists, organisers, and advocates who are targeted for what they do and rarely paid enough to buy their way out of it.
Someone being harassedA campaign of harassment does not check your bank balance first, and the cost of it is already being paid in other ways.
Someone who is just brokeYou do not need a story. Money is tight for an enormous number of people and that is reason enough.

How this gets built

The free tools exist. The paid one needs funding.

Everything on this site was built without money and costs nothing to run. The removal engine is different — it needs lawyers in five countries, a catalogue of several hundred data brokers, and months of work.

What we are raising for

Legal standing to act as your authorised agent in the US, UK, EU, Canada and Australia. Without it, a removal request is a polite email a company can ignore. With it, it is something they have to answer.

Then the catalogue itself: every broker, every form, every trick they use to make removal difficult.

What stays free regardless

Every tool on this site. If the campaign fails completely, the Photo Check, the Audit, the Map, the Guide, the Passphrase, your Rights, your Panel and your Account all keep working exactly as they do today.

They cost nothing to run. That was the point of building them that way.

The campaign is not open yet. When it is, the link will be here and on the front page. Until then the waitlist is the only way to be told.

And most of it is free anyway

Before any of the above matters: everything that costs us nothing to run is free for everyone, permanently. That is eight tools today and it will be more, because the rule is about what a thing costs to operate, not about how much we can fence off. Knowing what is exposed about you, and knowing what you can do about it, is never behind a payment.

The Photo Check The Audit The Map The Guide The Passphrase Your Panel Your Account

The paid tier is for the ongoing labour — filing hundreds of deletion requests, chasing each to a real answer, and refiling when brokers quietly repopulate. That is work with a real cost, which is the only reason it costs anything.

A line we are not going to crossNothing currently free will ever move behind the paywall. Not the Photo Check, not the Audit, not the Guide, and not the Map — especially not the Map, which is public records mapped by volunteers and was never ours to sell. When SOVRAN+ opens, it will contain new work, not fenced-off old work.
