Every photo carries
a hidden file.
Your camera writes your exact coordinates, the second you pressed the shutter, and its own serial number into every picture you take. It travels with the file everywhere you send it. Drop a photo in and see yours — then take back a clean copy.
How to use this
- Turn off your wifi and mobile data first. Do it now, before you pick a photo. Not required — but it's how you prove to yourself that nothing here is uploading anything.
- Pick a photo taken on your phone or camera. Something straight from the camera roll works best. Photos already posted to Instagram or Facebook usually have this stripped out by the platform.
- Read what it found. Coordinates, timestamp, device serial. Everything shown is already inside the file you chose.
- Download the clean copy if you want one. It saves to your device like any other download.
- Turn your connection back on whenever you like. The page has already finished doing everything it does.
Every step above happens inside this browser tab. There is no server involved after this page finishes loading — which is why it works with your connection switched off. Nothing else on this page can be true if that one isn't, so we'd rather you check.

Or tap to choose one. It is read on your device and never sent anywhere.
Take back a clean copy
This removes every metadata block from the file — location, timestamps, camera identifiers, editing history — without touching a single pixel. We cut the metadata out of the file's bytes rather than re-saving the image, so the picture quality is exactly what it was. Most tools re-encode and quietly degrade it.
Saved to your device. Nothing left this browser.
