Pick the one that
sounds like you.

Eight tools, all free, and the list keeps growing. None of them need an account. You do not have to read the whole site. Find the sentence below that matches why you came, and start there.

Before you go further

Nothing on this page requires signing up, paying, or giving us an email address. Every tool runs inside your browser — turn off your connection first if you want to prove it. An account exists and is also free, but it only syncs a checklist between your devices, and most people do not need one.

“I have five minutes and no idea where to start”

Check one photo3 min

The fastest way to understand the problem is to see it in something of your own. Pick a picture from your camera roll and find out what is written inside it.

  1. Open The Photo Check
  2. Drop in a photo taken on your phone with location on
  3. Read the precision ladder — it shows what your coordinates actually pin down
  4. Download the clean copy if you want one
“I want my address off the internet”

Start the removals30 min, then ongoing

People-search sites publish your home address, your phone number, and your relatives' names to anyone who types your name. Removal is free everywhere legitimate, and tedious — which is why almost nobody finishes.

  1. Open the broker section of The Guide
  2. If you are in California, submit one DROP request — it covers several hundred brokers at once
  3. Otherwise work the checklist; it remembers your progress on this device
  4. Set a reminder for six months. They repopulate.
“What is watching my street?”

Look at the map5 min

Plate readers photograph every car that passes and log where it was, and when. Most were approved in a routine council vote with nobody in the room.

  1. Open The Map and choose your state
  2. Zoom into your area — roads and towns appear as you go
  3. Tap any device to see who runs it, or that nobody has said
  4. Use the generated letter to ask your council the questions that get answers
“I want to know what I have already published”

Audit your own exportRequest today, run tomorrow

Every platform must hand you a full archive of your data on request. Most people have never looked at theirs. It is the single most complete document about you that exists.

  1. Request your download from Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook — choose JSON
  2. It arrives by email in a few hours
  3. Drop the file into The Audit. It is read entirely on your device
  4. Look at the repeated coordinates first. Those are your home, work, and routine.
“I am worried about my kids”

Audit what you posted20 min

By the time a child can consent, thousands of images of them are public — nearly all posted by adults who love them. The fix is about what you publish, never about monitoring them.

  1. Read the family section — start with the school directory opt-out
  2. Run your own social export through The Audit to find the geotags
  3. Use The Photo Check before sharing the next picture
  4. Ask grandparents to tighten their accounts. They are usually the largest source.
“Someone is trying to find me”

Read this before changing anythingDo not rush

Different rules apply when the threat is a specific person. Suddenly locking everything down can signal that you know — and the period right after someone realises they are losing control is the most dangerous one.

  1. Talk to an advocate before you change settings. They help you sequence it safely.
  2. National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788
  3. For the technology side specifically, techsafety.org is the best resource there is
  4. If the device you are reading this on might be monitored, use a different one

Everything, in one list

All free, permanently. Seven of the eight need no account at all, and every one of them works with your connection switched off.

  1. The Photo Check — the coordinates and camera serial hidden inside a photo, and a clean copy to replace it
  2. The Audit — your whole social export read on your device, with every location and routine you have published
  3. The Map — plate readers and cameras near you, with a letter to your council written from the real numbers
  4. The Guide — what you can actually do, searchable, with a broker checklist that remembers where you got to
  5. The Passphrase — a key strong enough for your email, your bank, or an encrypted backup
  6. Your Panel — the whole plan as a checklist, stored only in your browser, with a one-click erase
  7. Your Account — optional, free, and encrypted with a key we never receive. Only worth it if you use SOVRAN on more than one device
